Our Story

Amrada is a Dehradun-based dairy brand founded by the Uniyal family on 22 March 2021. The journey began with five cows at the farm and a simple objective: to build a dependable dairy business focused on product quality, responsible operations and long-term relationships with the people involved in the supply chain. Today, Amrada works with more than 100 farmers and serves customers through a growing range of milk and dairy products.

Operating from KSP Fresh Farms in Village Jhabarawala, Doiwala, Dehradun, Amrada brings together farming experience, dairy training, operations management and structured processes. The founders remain closely involved in the business, from product and process decisions to farmer coordination and day-to-day operational practices.

Amrada’s aim is to make good-quality dairy products accessible to families while building a business that respects farmers, staff, customers and animals. This people-first approach has shaped the brand from the beginning and continues to guide how the team works and grows.

Urvashi Uniyal, Founder of Amrada, Dehradun

Urvashi Uniyal

Founder, Amrada

Urvashi Uniyal brings an academic and research background to Amrada. She holds an M.Phil. in English Literature and previously worked in teaching in Dehradun before joining the family dairy business. To strengthen her understanding of dairy and food-sector practices, she undertook training at the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, and the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Sonipat.

At Amrada, Urvashi applies this learning to the brand’s approach to product quality, process improvement and customer trust. Her involvement reflects the company’s focus on combining practical dairy operations with continuous learning and better business practices.

Kuldeep Uniyal

Kuldeep Uniyal moved from a professional background in robotics engineering in Noida to building a dairy business in Dehradun. His transition into dairy reflects a hands-on entrepreneurial approach and a long-term commitment to developing Amrada as a trusted local brand.

Kuldeep is closely involved in the operational side of the business and in maintaining a strong focus on product consistency and customer experience. His goal is to help Amrada grow through disciplined execution, continuous improvement and dependable dairy products for everyday households.

Sandeep Uniyal holds an MBA in Operations from Amity University and brings around 20 years of professional experience in supply chain management for precious metals. His experience adds structured operational and process-management expertise to the Amrada team.

At Amrada, Sandeep focuses on strengthening standard operating procedures, improving consistency and helping the team stay aligned with established processes. His operational perspective supports the company’s emphasis on efficiency, accountability and continuous improvement as the business expands.
